What it is

In plain words.

Catering enquiries tend to arrive as a vague email, followed by days of questions: how many guests, what date, what budget, what kind of event. This add-on asks those questions up front in a short guided form, gives the customer an instant ballpark estimate from your own pricing, and lets them book a call with you.

You stop spending your evenings on quotes that never convert, and the people who do reach you arrive with the details you need.

A good fit if

  • Restaurants, caterers and food trucks that take private events, parties and corporate orders.
  • Anyone whose catering enquiries arrive in pieces over several emails.
  • Businesses with menu tiers or per-head pricing.

Probably not for you if

  • You only do the occasional event and quote each one by hand. A form adds little then.

We'd rather tell you so than sell you something that doesn't fit.

What you get

Exactly what's included.

A guided quote form

Event type, guest count, date, menu tier and extras, one question at a time.

An instant estimate

A ballpark total calculated from the prices you set.

A call booking

Customers pick a time to talk, so a serious enquiry becomes a conversation.

The details sent to you

Everything they entered arrives in one message.

Your pricing, your rules

Per-head prices, minimums, travel fees and add-ons you control.

How it goes

  1. We capture your pricing

Menu tiers, per-head prices, minimums, extras and any date rules.

  2. We build the form

A short, friendly flow that ends in an estimate and a call booking.

  3. You test it

Try a few made-up events and make sure the estimates look right.

Why it's worth it

What it does for you.

Faster replies win events

A customer who gets an answer in a minute may never ask a competitor.

Less time on quotes

The estimating questions are answered before you ever see them.

Better enquiries

People who see a ballpark before they call are more likely to be serious.

Fewer surprises

You know the guest count, date and budget before the first conversation.

  • A quote that arrives while the customer is still interested is the cheapest sales tool there is.

Run your own numbers

Example figures. Change them to yours.

Count your quoting time. These are example numbers: change them to your own.

min
%
$

Use what you'd pay someone for that hour, or what the hour could earn you.

Time you get back3.0 hours a month at the rate you entered
$120

Net each month

$120

That would repay the $495 setup in about 4.1 months, and about $1,440 a year after that.

What this assumes

  • The time estimate is yours, not ours: change the numbers until they match your week.
  • It doesn't count the events you might win by answering faster. That's real, but it's your call how much to count.

The practical bits

What it takes.

What we need from you

  • Your catering menu and prices, including tiers and per-head rates.
  • Your minimums, travel or setup fees, and any lead-time rules.
  • The times you're available for calls.

How long it takes

Usually one to two weeks once your pricing is settled.

Timelines are typical. The dates for your project go in your proposal.

Afterwards

It's a one-time price. You own what we build, and if you ever want changes later, we quote them first.

Questions

Likely questions, answered.

Is the estimate a binding quote?

No. It's a ballpark based on your pricing so the conversation starts in the right place. You confirm the real quote after the call.

Can I change my prices later?

Yes. The prices live in a place you control, so a new season or a new tier doesn't need a rebuild.

What if an event doesn't fit the form?

There's always a way to say 'something different' and send a free-text message.

Does it take payments or deposits?

Not as part of this add-on. It captures the enquiry and the call. If you want deposits, ask about invoicing and online payments.

What does Catering & private event quote builder cost?

$495 setup. The price is fixed and written into your proposal before any work starts, so there are no hourly surprises. If you ask for something that isn't in the proposal, we quote that change first and nothing changes until you agree.

Do I own it?

You own what we build for you: the code, the content, and the accounts it runs on (the domain, the hosting account and any service account, such as a payment account, are opened in your name). There is no proprietary platform to be locked into and no cancellation penalty.

Can you add it to the website I already have?

Add-ons are built into a ZONA site. If you already have a site, tell us what it's built with when you get in touch. We'll tell you honestly whether this can be added to it or would work better built into a new one. We'd rather say so than sell you something that doesn't fit.

How do I get started?

Use the button on this page to add it to your project, or send a message. A discovery call takes about fifteen minutes (no pitch deck), and then you get a fixed-price proposal. You'll hear back within one business day.

Is there a long-term contract?

No long-term contracts is our standing rule: care plans are month to month, and any monthly terms for an add-on go in writing in your proposal before you sign anything.
