Online scheduling & appointment booking add-on in use

What it is

In plain words.

Booking by phone means someone has to answer it, usually in the middle of doing the actual work. This add-on puts a booking page on your site: customers pick a service, a person and a time, and the appointment lands on the calendar.

Scheduling apps are usually a monthly subscription, commonly somewhere around $20–60 a month before anyone has set them up. This one is built into your own website, so the bookings and customer details are yours and the page looks like the rest of your site.

A good fit if

  • Salons, studios, clinics, repair shops, trades and consultants who book appointments.
  • Businesses with more than one person whose time can be booked.
  • Anyone who loses bookings to a missed call or loses money to no-shows.

Probably not for you if

  • You only take walk-ins.
  • You need a full practice-management system with billing and charting. This books appointments; it isn't a clinical record.

We'd rather tell you so than sell you something that doesn't fit.

What you get

Exactly what's included.

An online booking page

Customers choose a service, a person and a time that's actually free.

Staff calendars

Each person's working hours and days off, so only real openings are offered.

Optional deposits

Take a deposit or hold a card on bookings that tend to no-show.

Automatic reminders

Text and email reminders before the appointment.

Reschedule and cancel links

Customers can move their own booking, which frees the slot.

A customer list

Names and contact details stay with you.

How it goes

  1. We set up your services and people

Durations, prices, working hours and any buffer between appointments.

  2. We build and test the booking flow

You book, move and cancel as a customer would.

  3. You go live

A booking button on your site and your Google Business Profile.

Why it's worth it

What it does for you.

Fewer interruptions

Booking happens at night and on weekends without you picking up.

Fewer no-shows

Reminders and easy rescheduling bring the number down.

Fewer wasted gaps

Only real openings are shown, so the day fills in order.

Your data, your site

Bookings aren't locked inside someone else's subscription.

  • The money often isn't in the phone time. It's the slot that would have stayed empty.

Run your own numbers

$308

That would repay the $395 setup in about a month, and about $3,700 a year after that.

What this assumes

  • No-show reduction varies a lot. It's an example you can change, not a promise.

The practical bits

What it takes.

What we need from you

  • Your services, how long each takes and what they cost.
  • Each person's working hours and days off.
  • Your cancellation and deposit rules.
  • A phone number or email for confirmations.

How long it takes

Usually one to two weeks once your services and hours are settled.

Timelines are typical. The dates for your project go in your proposal.

What the monthly fee covers

The monthly fee covers hosting, the reminder text and email service for normal small-business volumes, and keeping the system updated and secure. Tell us if you expect unusually high volume.

Questions

Likely questions, answered.

Can customers choose a specific person?

Yes, or 'anyone available'. You decide which you offer.

Can I take deposits?

Yes, on the services you choose. Deposits cut down no-shows for the appointments that matter most.

Does it sync with my Google or Apple calendar?

Tell us which calendar you live in and we'll explain exactly how it's handled before you buy.

What about walk-ins?

Hold back time in the calendar for them. You decide how much.

Is it right for medical or health practices?

For appointments, yes. For collecting health information, see HIPAA-conscious intake forms: booking and patient intake are different jobs.

What does Online scheduling & appointment booking cost?

$395 setup + $25/mo. The price is fixed and written into your proposal before any work starts, so there are no hourly surprises. If you ask for something that isn't in the proposal, we quote that change first and nothing changes until you agree.

Do I own it?

You own what we build for you: the code, the content, and the accounts it runs on (the domain, the hosting account and any service account, such as a payment account, are opened in your name). There is no proprietary platform to be locked into and no cancellation penalty.

Can you add it to the website I already have?

Add-ons are built into a ZONA site. If you already have a site, tell us what it's built with when you get in touch. We'll tell you honestly whether this can be added to it or would work better built into a new one. We'd rather say so than sell you something that doesn't fit.

How do I get started?

Use the button on this page to add it to your project, or send a message. A discovery call takes about fifteen minutes (no pitch deck), and then you get a fixed-price proposal. You'll hear back within one business day.

Is there a long-term contract?

No long-term contracts is our standing rule: care plans are month to month, and any monthly terms for an add-on go in writing in your proposal before you sign anything.
