On this page
A cookie is a small file a website saves in your browser. This page lists exactly what zonaweb.design stores, why, and how to control it. The short version: no advertising cookies; Google Analytics cookies to count visits; sign-in and preference storage only where a feature needs it.
What we use
- Sign-in cookies (essential). If you sign in to the client portal we set a cookie called portal_token, which keeps you signed in for up to two hours. When the studio signs in to its own dashboard it uses access_token (15 minutes) and refresh_token (7 days). All three are HTTP-only, so scripts on the page can't read them, and they are only set when someone signs in. Without them, signing in couldn't work.
- Preferences saved in your browser (essential to the feature). Strictly these are “local storage” rather than cookies. We remember whether site sound is on or off (it is off unless you turn it on) and, in the client portal, whether you picked light or dark mode. These choices stay on your device and are never sent to us.
- Google Analytics cookies (analytics). _ga and _ga_<id> let Google Analytics tell a new visitor from a returning one, so we can see how many people visit and which pages they read. They last up to two years. We haven't turned on Google's advertising features, and you can block them with Google's opt-out browser add-on (tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout), a tracker blocker or your browser's cookie settings.
- Nothing else. No advertising cookies, and we don't embed social-media buttons or widgets.
Requests to other companies
Our typefaces load from Google Fonts. Google doesn't set cookies for that, but your browser contacts its servers, so Google receives your IP address and browser details. Links to other sites (a map, a photo credit) are covered by those sites' own policies.
Why there's no cookie banner
ZONA serves businesses in Arizona, and US law doesn't require consent before analytics cookies. Rather than a banner, this page tells you what we use and how to block it. If you'd like your visits left out, the opt-out add-on and tracker blockers above work on this site.
Controlling and clearing
- Your browser lets you block or delete cookies and site data (look for “privacy” or “site data” in its settings).
- Signing out of the client portal removes its sign-in cookie.
- Clearing site data removes the saved preferences. The site then goes back to its defaults.
- If you block cookies entirely, signing in to the portal won't work, but the rest of the site will.
