What it is
In plain words.
People are cautious about places they haven't seen: a restaurant, a salon, a gym, a lodge, a shop. A walk-through they can explore on their phone answers 'what's it like inside?' before they decide to visit.
We capture your interior in 360 degrees and publish it to your Google presence, with a copy for you to place on your own site. Publishing relies on Google's own tools, which change, so we'll confirm what's possible before we begin.
A good fit if
- Restaurants, cafés, salons, gyms, studios, lodges, shops and offices.
- Places where the atmosphere is part of the draw.
- Businesses wanting something richer than a handful of still photos.
Probably not for you if
- Your premises are very small or aren't something customers visit.
- You only want still images. See on-location photography.
We'd rather tell you so than sell you something that doesn't fit.
What you get
Exactly what's included.
A 360-degree capture of your interior
A walk-through of the spaces customers care about.
Processing and clean-up
Prepared so it looks right and loads well.
Publishing to Google
Added to your Google presence, as far as Google's tools allow.
A copy for your own site
To place on your website.
The files, yours
So you aren't dependent on one platform.
How it goes
We plan the walk-through
Which spaces and in what order.
We capture it on site
In 360 degrees, with the place looking its best.
We publish and hand over
To Google, and to you.
Why it's worth it
What it does for you.
Reassurance before the visit
People see the place and know what they're walking into.
A richer profile
More than the usual few photos.
Works while you're closed
Customers can look around at any hour.
Yours to reuse
On your website and anywhere else.
- Nobody can promise it will bring in people. It does remove one reason for hesitating.
Run your own numbers
Example figures. Change them to yours.
This doesn't predict how many people will visit because of it. It shows how many extra customers would pay for it. These are example numbers: change them to your own.
What's left after materials, labor and overhead.
- Setup
- −$545
Cost over the first year
−$545
At $120 profit per customer, 5 extra customers in the first year would pay for it. That is the whole claim: we can't tell you how many it will bring.
What this assumes
- This does not predict how many customers you'll get. It only shows how many it would take to pay for it.
The practical bits
What it takes.
What we need from you
- Access to the premises at a quiet time, tidied and ready.
- Which areas you want included.
- Your Google Business Profile details.
How long it takes
Usually two to three weeks, including the time Google takes to publish.
Timelines are typical. The dates for your project go in your proposal.
Afterwards
It's a one-time price. You own what we build, and if you ever want changes later, we quote them first.
Questions
Likely questions, answered.
Will Google definitely publish it?
Publishing relies on Google's tools and processes, which change. We'll confirm what's possible before we begin and tell you if anything has changed.
How long does the capture take?
It depends on the size of the place. We'll confirm in your proposal.
Can I put the tour on my own site?
Yes. You get a copy to place on your website.
Do I own the files?
Yes. They're yours.
Does it replace photos?
It complements them. See on-location photography for stills.
What does Google Business Profile video tour cost?
$545 setup. The price is fixed and written into your proposal before any work starts, so there are no hourly surprises. If you ask for something that isn't in the proposal, we quote that change first and nothing changes until you agree.
Do I own it?
You own what we build for you: the code, the content, and the accounts it runs on (the domain, the hosting account and any service account, such as a payment account, are opened in your name). There is no proprietary platform to be locked into and no cancellation penalty.
Can you add it to the website I already have?
Add-ons are built into a ZONA site. If you already have a site, tell us what it's built with when you get in touch. We'll tell you honestly whether this can be added to it or would work better built into a new one. We'd rather say so than sell you something that doesn't fit.
How do I get started?
Use the button on this page to add it to your project, or send a message. A discovery call takes about fifteen minutes (no pitch deck), and then you get a fixed-price proposal. You'll hear back within one business day.
Is there a long-term contract?
No long-term contracts is our standing rule: care plans are month to month, and any monthly terms for an add-on go in writing in your proposal before you sign anything.
