What it is
In plain words.
Reviews are one of the biggest things nearby customers look at before they call, and they feed how Google ranks local businesses. Most customers who loved your work never post anything, simply because nobody asked them at the right moment.
This add-on asks every customer, by text or email, shortly after a job or visit, with a link straight to your review page. It drafts replies to the reviews you receive so you can answer quickly, and shows real reviews on your own site.
A good fit if
- Trades, restaurants, practices and shops with happy customers and few reviews.
- Businesses whose competitors have far more reviews.
- Owners who want to reply to every review but never get round to it.
Probably not for you if
- You want fake or purchased reviews. We never write, buy or invent reviews, and doing so can get a profile penalized.
- You'd like to ask only your happiest customers. Filtering who gets asked goes against Google's rules, so we ask everyone.
We'd rather tell you so than sell you something that doesn't fit.
What you get
Exactly what's included.
Automatic review requests
A text or email after a job or visit, with a direct link to your review page.
A follow-up reminder
One polite nudge for people who didn't respond, and no more than that.
Drafted replies
A suggested answer for every review, ready for you to approve or tweak.
Reviews on your site
Real reviews you choose to feature, shown on your website and marked up in the standard way.
A monthly summary
How many reviews you received and what people said.
How it goes
We set up the ask
The message, the timing and the link to your review page.
You give us your customers
After each job or visit, or from a list; or we connect your system.
Reviews arrive, and we help you answer them
We draft the replies. You approve them.
Why it's worth it
What it does for you.
More reviews, honestly
Asking everyone, consistently, is what makes the difference.
Faster replies
A drafted answer takes seconds to approve, so no review sits unanswered.
Trust before the first call
Real reviews on your site help a visitor decide.
A steady habit
It happens after every job without you remembering.
- Google doesn't show star ratings in search results for a business's own reviews on its own website. We mark them up for accuracy, not for stars.
Run your own numbers
Example figures. Change them to yours.
This doesn't predict results. It shows how many extra customers over a year would pay for it. These are example numbers: change them to your own.
What's left after materials, labor and overhead.
- Setup
- −$350
- Monthly fee for 12 months$45 a month
- −$540
Cost over the first year
−$890
At $320 profit per customer, 3 extra customers in the first year would pay for it. That is the whole claim: we can't tell you how many it will bring.
What this assumes
- This does not predict how many customers you'll get. It only shows how many it would take to pay for it.
The practical bits
What it takes.
What we need from you
- The link to your Google review page (we'll help you find it).
- A way to know when a job or visit is done, and your customers' names and phone numbers or emails.
- Your approval on replies to reviews.
How long it takes
Usually one to two weeks once we have your review link and customer process.
Timelines are typical. The dates for your project go in your proposal.
What the monthly fee covers
The monthly fee covers the text and email delivery, the review-request system, the drafted replies and keeping it all running.
Questions
Likely questions, answered.
Can you write reviews for me?
Never. We don't write, buy or invent reviews. That breaks Google's rules and the site's pledge.
What if I get a bad review?
It happens to every business. A calm, prompt reply matters, and we'll draft one. A mix of reviews also looks more believable than a wall of five stars.
Why do you ask everyone?
Sending only your happiest customers to Google is called review gating, and it goes against Google's rules. A fair ask is both safer and more honest.
How do you know whom to ask?
You tell us when a job or visit is finished, or give us a list, or we connect your system. Tell us how you work and we'll set it up.
Will the messages annoy my customers?
Each customer gets one request and, if they haven't responded, one reminder.
Does it work with other review sites?
Google is the focus. Tell us if you also want to point customers to another site.
What does Review generation & reputation cost?
$350 setup + $45/mo. The price is fixed and written into your proposal before any work starts, so there are no hourly surprises. If you ask for something that isn't in the proposal, we quote that change first and nothing changes until you agree.
Do I own it?
You own what we build for you: the code, the content, and the accounts it runs on (the domain, the hosting account and any service account, such as a payment account, are opened in your name). There is no proprietary platform to be locked into and no cancellation penalty.
Can you add it to the website I already have?
Add-ons are built into a ZONA site. If you already have a site, tell us what it's built with when you get in touch. We'll tell you honestly whether this can be added to it or would work better built into a new one. We'd rather say so than sell you something that doesn't fit.
How do I get started?
Use the button on this page to add it to your project, or send a message. A discovery call takes about fifteen minutes (no pitch deck), and then you get a fixed-price proposal. You'll hear back within one business day.
Is there a long-term contract?
No long-term contracts is our standing rule: care plans are month to month, and any monthly terms for an add-on go in writing in your proposal before you sign anything.
